Okay, I know I've said this before, but I have to say it again: being sick sucks. It's not even the have-a-flu sick which would only take me out for 24 hours or so. No, this is the completely stuffed up, can't really do anything but sneeze and sneeze some more sick. I spent the weekend at home for the St. Patrick's Day South Side Irish parade, which was a ton of fun, but I just couldn't concentrate on anything, especially writing.
aim cd 4.32 hackSo, for the month, I have 23 pages written out of 100. Not great progress, but definitely something. I plan on reaching this month's 40 page mark by the end of the week so I can go home next week and do nothing but write. Basically, my own little Book in a Week (BIAW) program. I've done this once before, and I got 60+ pages done when my goal was 200 (which was definitely unrealistic). So, it can be done. If this cold would just leave me be.
All right, enough self-pity for the day. Tip of the day: keep a clean desktop. The rest of the desk may be a mess, the rest of the room may be a mess, but if you have a clean desktop, you'll feel better about your workspace.
