Katie's KeepersSeptember 2003 :: Someone to Watch Over Me by Lisa Kleypas Grant Morgan must decide if the woman in his bed is really the Vivien Duvall that he's come to know and loathe. Even if she isn't, the Bow Street Runner must find out who is out to kill this woman. Vivien can't believe that she's the woman that Grant tells her she is: a high class whore. She has no memory of that type of life, but gets flashes of another quiet life, with another man. She must sort out these memories and figure out who she really is as she deals with her growing feelings for Grant. I loved this book because it was the first one I had read since I was a teenager where the Regency/early-Victorian hero was not an aristocrat. It also helps that this was followed by two more full length books, both New York Times Bestsellers: Lady Sophia's Lover and Worth Any Price. Ms. Kleypas weaves a world of intrigue and sensuality, a world that makes her unique among today's romance novelists.
