Unfortunately, his day job isn't as exciting as the hard-boiled detective novel that's brewing in his brain. That is, until sexy and sassy Jacey Wilder walks through his door. Jacey Wilder is an accountant. Not because she really wants to be, but she's approaching the date she'd given herself to become successful, pay the bills anyway, with her art and it hasn't worked out like she'd planned. She's lined up the accounting job and is ready to start on Monday. She just wants to clear up some things with an old flame before she moves on, and decides that David is the man to find her man.
